About the role
Selfinity AI is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to help design, develop, and launch new SaaS and technology products.
You will contribute across the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The role will involve building user-facing applications, backend services, APIs, and AI-enabled product features.
This position is suitable for candidates with 0–3 years of experience who have a foundation in software development and some exposure to AI technologies, AI-assisted development tools, or generative AI applications.
What you'll do
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
- Build and maintain frontend applications, backend services, REST APIs, and GraphQL APIs
- Integrate databases, cloud services, third-party platforms, and AI capabilities into new software products
- Write reliable, maintainable, and well-documented code while troubleshooting performance and production issues
- Collaborate with engineering, product, data, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
What we look for
- 0–3 years of software engineering, application development, or related project experience
- Experience with programming languages and frameworks such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or similar technologies
- Basic understanding of APIs, databases, cloud applications, version control, testing, and software development practices
- Some exposure to generative AI, large language models, AI APIs, or AI-assisted development tools
What we prefer
- Experience building full-stack web applications, SaaS products, or cloud-based services
- Familiarity with GraphQL, containerization, CI/CD workflows, and modern cloud platforms
- Personal, academic, or professional projects demonstrating software development and effective use of AI tools
